Getting Started

Installation

Download the latest DMG from the Clutch homepage. Open the disk image and drag Clutch to your Applications folder.

On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may block the app. Right-click the app and select Open to bypass the warning.

API Keys

Clutch requires API keys from one or more providers:

• DeepSeek — platform.deepseek.com
• OpenCode Go — opencode.ai/auth (subscription required)
• OpenCode Zen — opencode.ai/auth

Go to Settings → Providers, paste your key, and click Test Connection.

Your First Chat

Click New Chat in the sidebar, select a provider and model from the dropdown in the chat header, and type a message. Press Enter to send.

Privacy

All data — API keys, conversations, settings, user profile — is stored locally in SQLite at:

~/Library/Application Support/com.clutch.app/clutch.db

Nothing leaves your machine except the API calls to your chosen LLM provider.
